The festive season is almost over once again, and again it managed to creep up on me so I was almost totally unprepared as usual.

 

It’s been a busy and successful year that saw the staging of the first Midland Pen Show held here in Lichfield, the show was great fun and successful for dealers and visitors and considered to be a worthwhile event by both groups; next year’s show is well into the planning stage. Our second venture in pen show organisation is the South West Pen Show to be held at Bristol in February 2009. This is being organised along the same lines as the Midland Pen Show, small and intimate, ideal for meeting up and relaxing amongst thousands of fountain pens - can’t be bad! Its also a very good show to visit if you have never been to a pen show before as it won’t be absolutely manic like the London show.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hopefully sometime in January we will complete a thorough re-vamp of the Cathedral Pens web site - a new look and lots of new stock to see. Unfortunately the web site has taken a back seat this year due to my involvement with the Writing Equipment Society and the London Writing Equipment Show.
